How Do I Get Rid Of Brown Spots and Pigmentation?

Post- Summer Sun- Damage, Brown Spots and Pigmentation. One of the most common questions I am  asked, is how do I get rid of my brown spots and pigmentation?
This is one of the most challenging problems, sorry as they are very difficult to treat. What causes hyper pigmentation and brown liver spots? Over production of melanin synthesis in the melanocytes and it’s elimination onto the skin surface, hyperactivity of melanocytes become freckles and hyper proliferation of melanocytes as dark pigmentation and liver spots. The skin also has a memory and the longer you have had them the harder they are to fade, hormonal changes and genetics are also a main factor.
The most obvious solution is to stay away from directly sitting in the sun, wear high sun care protection and avoid over heating as this has been related to being another reactivating factor.
You can avoid the problem earlier if you use specific skincare products that contain active ingredients which help reduce the production of melanin. Helping to control over production of melanin and reducing pigmentation, also helping to fade out existing brown spots.
Start the treatment with a thorough exfoliation treatment, I recommend Pier Auge tempus exfoliation or doux peeling as both are easy to use and gentle on your skin. Pier Auge has a lightning and brightening program containing active ingredients that inhibit tyrosinase synthesis which controls melanin production, it reduces brown spots for a more even, brighter complexion, contains lightening molecules and Vitamin C. Vitamin C  fights ageing by trapping free radicals and slows down the formation of pigmentation spots.
Autumn can often leave your skin looking and feeling dry, dull and lifeless or even over congested, this will probably be due to the build up of dead skin cells and the use of heavy sunscreens and self- tanning products. Now is the time to treat your skin to a super boosting revitalising and energising treatment which will restore, replenish and re- balance, promoting radiance and a healthy glow back into your skin again

Holding on to your Summer Tan

It's that time of year when we want to just hold on to the last bit of our summer and pray for a Indian one. Leaving time to keep out our summer wardrobe just a little bit longer-please.
My holiday is at the end of this month and I am very happy to be invited to a wedding in Corfu, lucky old me. So not wanting to go lily white, especially on my legs. I am using Cougar gradual self tanning cream    .

Normally I would have a professional all over spray tan, but to be honest I only want more of a natural golden glow this time. I am loving the Cougar tan as it is very natural looking and does not dry into my unsightly pigmentation marks which I have accumulated over the years.
It is very hydrating and actually makes the skin look soft and silky too. You can mix it with your daily moisturizer and use on your face, which means less foundation and a nice healthy look.

If you already have a tan and it is rapidly disappearing then this gradual tanning process will keep your existing tan throughout the year. If you are planning a special occasion or holiday then you can start planning your tan a few days in advance and gradually build it to the desired colour depth, this way you also avoid missing any areas or any mishaps. Cougar tan love the name by the way, is a high end, quality brand with natural ingredients, easy to apply and does not smell like some normal tanning products.

Good Luck Happy Safe All Year Tanning Guys and Dolls.
